Hey, Shakespeare club - by which I mean at least engrprof, runecestershire, and icryyoumercy - you guys do know the Overture to Coriolan, right? Because it is definitely one of my favorite pieces of music.

Filed under Shakespeare Shakespearebinge Beethoven Overture to Coriolan nimblermortals Senf classical music currently using it to time how long my cookies should stay in the oven I got to play this one time and one thing that should be fairly obvious but is worth saying is that the BA BUM BA BUM BA BUM BA BUMs are Coriolanus going 'Imma kill em all' and the doooo dee doo de doo de doooooo de dooo dees are the ladies saying 'What about you tried this stellar idea of not sacking Rome?' and so it's all repeated and conflicted just like the play as well as being a fantastic piece of music to listen to
